At Thulir we organise a range of sessions for our students.
Basic Language skills are taught through Story telling, Reading sessions, as well as through writing exercises.
Math/ Reasoning skills are taught using a variety of learning materials from seeds and Montessori sets to games and puzzles.
Art sessions introduce drawing, painting, clay work , murals etc.
Crafts sessions teach making of various products such as greeting cards, paper jewellery, soap making, bamboo products [like key chains], etc.
Masonry skills, plumbing and electrical wiring is taught to senior children through work in our campus.
Basics of Electronics is taught so that simple products like torches and Reading lamps using DC solar power can be made.
Organic farming and Bee keeping are pursued.
Basic Computer skills are taught to help understand it as a tool that can help in our activities. [for eg the Programme “Scratch” in understanding basic electronics concepts/ programme “Sketchup” in drawing 3d objects / office suites to help keep records of stocks and basic accounting]
A variety of interactive sessions with visitors are held to learn about the world outside our valley.
